Mushrooms at Brickyard Bay

Hi there:

We were shooting for ShawTv this morning at Brickyard bay and I forgot

to ask if the club had heard of these rare red mushrooms that grow on

Arbutus trees. They are found from Dec thru Jan. and so far, only on

rotting Arbutus tree base areas, commonly in the company of Garry Oak.

The story I shot was on Little Mountain, the further north of only 11

world sightings.
